Right now, Om Puri is busy packing his bags for his two-month long trip to France where he will be shooting for his upcoming film, co-starring Helen Mirren.

According to Puri, the film is a mature love story where both the actors play restaurateurs. Says Puri, “I have been watching director Lasse Hallstorm’s films over the past few days. I am very excited.”

According to the actor, the film starts with his journey to France and starting up his own eatery adjacent to Mirren’s. The story shows how their initial professional rivalry later blossoms into love.

Juggling his other projects to accommodate his Hollywood film was easy for Puri. “There are a couple of films that I was doing and the makers have been kind enough to postpone them to November as I will be away for nine weeks.”u00a0
