Nausheen Ali Sardar's big screen aspirations are finally seeing the light of day.

Nosh on big screen - finally!

The movie stars Mandira Bedi, Bikram Saluja, Sammir Dattani and Prashant Chainani. Nosh, as she is known, is also shooting for Vikram Bhatt's assistant Vishal Pandya's Purple Lake opposite Aashish Chaudhary. She's been gymming to be in ship-shape for the role.

On the personal front, she faced a tragedy last month when she lost her dad. Though she has been maintaining a low profile for the last several months, Nosh is now determined to start anew in 2009.

Lady Narcissus
Guess old habits do die hard. Karisma Kapoor has yet to realise that TV is a different medium. The actress, a judge on Star Plus' reality dance show, Nach Baliye 4, is never found without her mirror. After each take, she touches up her make-up even though she knows that everyone on the sets is making jokes about this. Co-judge Arjun Rampal even took a dig at her saying he wanted to gift her a bigger mirror for the New Year. But Karisma doesn't care. Viva la greasepaint!

Riled and reviled
The final lap of auditions for MTV Roadies Hell Down Under in Mumbai will be aired today at 7 pm. The contenders are shortlisted online and are only called in for their personal interviews with Raghu and Rajeev. Don't miss Sufi Malhotra's first tryst with the duo, which does not go too well the interview ends with an exchange of profanities. Another contestant, Suzzane shows off her dancing skills, while yet another hopeful, Shreyas is asked to lick his shoes!

Alvida K?
Ekta Kapoor's new show Bandini has Aasiya Kazi play the lead. The show is about problems of union workers; that explains the dukhyari look we guess. At least, the name doesn't begin with a K!

Megha can cook too
Megha Gupta, who plays Anchal in Main Teri Parchhain Hoon, recently faced an unusual problem while shooting. Off-screen, she is a great cook but on screen she had to be clumsy in the kitchen. "It was so difficult pretending not to know how to cook; it comes so easily to me. I had to truly put some major efforts in unlearning my trait!" says Megha. Maybe you can feel better by cooking for others on the sets later?

MEET MY LOVELIES: Anuj Saxena was the chief guest at Aaakanksha 2008 organised by the youth wing of the Bunts Sangha recently. He crowned the Miss Bunt and the runners-up

This jodi is in trouble
Dipsshikha's partner Liza Mallik on Colors show Dancing Queen has met with a road accident. She had gone to Jaipur to visit her family for the New Year when she had a mishap on her way back to New Delhi. It is learnt that the mishap occurred due to the fog. Liza now has a swollen face and has torn a few hand ligaments yet she is going ahead with her performance.

Celebrations continue
Bidaai has bagged several awards in different categories at all TV awards events recently. Reason enough for producer Rajan Shahi to throw a bash for the cast and crew apart from a lucky dip that had several crew members winning prizes like mobiles and microwaves.

Make mine double
A birdie who flits around channel offices chirps to say that Akshay Kumar is asking for double the amount to host the second season of the Colors reality show Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi. He has already had talks with the channel about his second outing on TV. In the first season, he was paid Rs 1.5 crore for every episode. Now let's see how this exchange fares.

Lovin' it
Reena Kapoor, who has returned to Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, feels at home on the Rajshri show sets at Tata Bungalow at MIDC. She and her co-star Reeta Bhaduri love the location due to the open spaces. "The mornings are beautiful and it is extremely pleasant in the evenings," says Reena, who with Reeta spends her free time enjoying the environs.
