Neeraj Pandey's Akshay Kumar starrer 'Baby' may not find a release in Pakistan for its alleged anti-Pak sentiments. The film apparently deals with a character who bears an uncanny resemblance to Hafiz Mohammed Saeed, the leader of terrorist organisation Jamat ud Dawa.

A source says, "The distributor had screenings in Karachi and Sind but it wasn’t approved".

However, distributor Zain Wali states that though the film is facing a ban, it has been sent for a re-appeal and the Pakistan censor board will watch it.

Incidentally, 'Baby' features two Pakistani actors — Mohammed Naaz who plays the character that resembles Saeed and has acted in Shoaib Mansoor's 'Khuda Ke Liye', and Mikhail Zulfikaar who was recently seen in Pakistani TV serial 'Aaina Dulhan Ka'.

Pakistan is about a Rs 8 crore territory for big ticket films. Some recent films that were banned in the neighbouring country are 'Haider' (2014), 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Agent Vinod' (both 2012).
