New TV show 'Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha' offers a glimpse of the trials Indian immigrants face abroad

Get ready for a bittersweet romantic, comedy drama, 'Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha', starring Fawad Khan, Sanam Baloch, Ayesha Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar on a popular television channel. The show, which premieres on 1st February, explores the trials and tribulations faced by new immigrants, the class divide and the harsh realities of life.


Fawad Khan's character Mujtaba is that of a Pakistani computer engineer who dreams of making it big abroad by taking over his uncle's thriving business and marrying his cousin Daniez. On his arrival in America, he is shocked by the cultural divide and the way his uncle’s family including his cousin Daniez treat him.


Mujtaba, coddled by his mother, believes that as he is his uncle's nephew he will get everything handed to him on a silver platter not realising that it is only hard work that pays. The female lead Kiran, played by Sanam Baloch dreams of finding true love and wants to escape from her cruel family. Kiran is hard working, she works two jobs to be able to make ends meet. While trying to help Mujtaba to adapt to living in a foreign country, Kiran unknowingly falls in love with him.


'Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha' is a show that will give the audiences a glimpse into the lives of immigrants and will depict that grass is not always greener on the other side. The show premieres on 1st February, every Monday to Saturday at 8:00 pm on an entertainment channel.
