A nameplate goes up. PS: It is to settle matters once and for all?

After proclaiming that they were the only Dutts at Pali Hill, Sanjay and biwi Maanayata have now gone a step further. A golden nameplate declaring 'The Dutts' has been put up on their doorstep.

What's interesting is that all these years the actor's home at Imperial Heights did not bear any nameplate nor did it exist even a month back.

Recent visitors to their place have been taken by surprise by this latest addition to their 11th floor apartment.

Says a source, "It hits the eye as soon as you are at the actor's doorstep. You can't help but notice."

It is learnt that it was Maanayata's brainwave to have a nameplate affixed at the entrance of their homeu00a0 ahead of their first wedding anniversary on February 11.

Adds the source, "As she is expecting everyone from B-Town to turn up for the bash on the 10th night, it was a good opportunity for the nameplate to be put up. So that everyone sees and notices it just in case if anyone still had any doubts!"

Recently, Sanjay and Maanayata had stated that they were the only Dutts as a message to the actor's MP sister Priya who still uses her maiden name. The couple had created an uproar by stating that after marriage the woman must take on her husband's surname.
