Yesterday, frantic calls were made to media photographers with the person on the other side claiming that Vivek Oberoi's Juhu home had been burgled.

When the lensmen reached the spot, they were shocked to see the burglar — Riteish Deshmukh. Turns out it was a publicity gimmick for their upcoming film, Bank Chor. There was also a fake cop and Riteish in handcuffs.

Directed by Bumpy, the long-complete Yash Raj production will see the light of day later this year. It was supposed to be Kapil Sharma's launchpad in 2014, but due to his alleged interference in the script, he was shown the door and Riteish roped in.
