Bhopal: Madhuri Dixit Nene learnt that refusing to pose for photographs with die-hard fans could have uncomfortable repercussions. She was asked to leave the VIP lounge at Bhopal airport after she refused to click pictures with an airport official on Thursday evening.

The actress and film producer Anubhav Sinha were in Bhopal on a tour to promote their upcoming flick Gulab Gang. After fulfilling their commitments, the two were at the airport to return to Mumbai, when the incident occurred. Sinha said, “How can someone do such a thing to a woman? It is completely unfair to her.”

He said, “An official walked up to us and escorted us to the VIP lounge. We weren’t even going there. He then asked Madhuri for a photograph. Madhuri’s manager, Minaxi, refused, saying that Madhuri was very tired. The man then got angry and asked us to leave the lounge immediately.”

Both Sinha and Madhuri left the lounge. “Fortunately, it was time for our flight, but what happened was completely uncalled for.

People don’t understand that stars are humans too, and you can’t expect them to behave the way you want. She was tired after the hectic day we had,” Sinha said, adding, “I asked him to give us his name but he refused to speak to us after that.” Madhuri and her manager, Minaxi, were unavailable for comment.
