Madhur Bhandarkar's long-in-the-planning political satire, Indu Sarkar, went on floors yesterday. The filmmaker has recreated the Delhi of the mid-'70s at ND Studios, Karjat, for the shoot.
The film, which stars Kirti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh, is set against the backdrop of the 21-month Emergency period that had been declared by the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975.
