Katrina Kaif was spotted in New York, on the eve of her release 'Jagga Jasoos', which has been in the making since the past four years. People are speculating if, she has chosen to distant herself from the film owing to a lot of reasons. A while back, it was reported that the film missed its UAE release mark and that there was a shadow glooming over the release of the film world-wide.

Also, during the promotions of the film, Katrina Kaif looked visibibly uncomfortable with the presence of Ranbir Kapoor, her co-star, who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend. The couple were in a live-in till things went kaput and the couple split up. The film has run into numerous controversies, ever since it was announced. 'Jagga Jasoos' is directed by Anurag Basu and it is said to be based on the life of a teen detective who is in search of his father.
