The shooting of Kalpana Lajmi directed film 'Kaanch' has run into trouble after she alleged misbehaviour and harassment by producer Rajiv Kashyap
Lajmi, who was shooting the film, said she was being forced to leave the film midway because of the "misbehaviour of Kashyap."

"I am not going to work again with Kashyap nor will I direct his film any more. Kashyap sends me obscene SMS messages and he even uses foul languages with me," Lajmi, 58, said at a press conference last evening.
Kashyap, however, refuted the allegation in a separate press conference, saying, it was Lajmi who has been indulging in "offensive behaviour". He has threatened to take the director to court.
The producer said he will return to Bhopal in September and resume the film's shooting with a new director. 'Kaanch' stars Avika Gor, who rose to fame for her role in popular television serial 'Balika Vadhu,' along with noted singer-actress Ila Arun and Yograj Singh.
Lajmi is known for her women-centric films like 'Rudaali', 'Darmiyaan' and 'Daman'. She was also the longtime partner of musician Bhupen Hazarika, who died last year.u00a0
