Johnny returns

Although he'd never really gone away, All The Best does seem like a comeback film for Johnny Lever. "I've been just waiting for good offers," he rues. And the man has proven yet again that he remains the king of comedy. "I was pleasantly surprised with the reviews I got from fans, the press and the critics," says a modest Johnny. He talks about five roles that he believes brought him immense fame.

1. Jalwa (1987)
I played the character of Murthy, the maalishwala, with a hilarious scene in which he enters the TV and entertains people.

2. Tezaab (1988)
Kainchee was my character, I played a friend in Munna's (Anil Kapoor) tapori college group.

3. Baazigar (1993)
I was Babulal, the head servant, who would keep forgetting. "Toh main kya naachu?" made me really famous!

4. Karan Arjun (1995)
Rakesh Roshan cast me as Lenghaiya, the funny stablehand in the film.

5. Kareeb (1998)
Bighelaal is a collector of coins and owns a laundry shop and dreams of going to England one day.
