If the buzz doing the industry rounds is to be believed, Sujoy Ghosh is much more than the producer of his upcoming film, 'Te3n'. Even though the thriller is being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, a former assistant of Anurag Kashyap, it is Ghosh who is calling the shots.

The film, which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles and Vidya Balan in a cameo, recently completed a shoot schedule in Kolkata.

Says a source, "Sujoy prefers to call himself the creative producer than just a producer, but even when it comes to direction, he takes a call. After his project, the Hindi adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X did not take off, he turned his attention to 'Te3n'."

Ribhu earlier directed the Naseeruddin Shah-Mahie Gill starrer 'Michael' that never saw light of day, though it was showcased at the Toronto film festival in 2011. Apart from assisting Kashyap on 'Gulal' (2009), he has also directed the filmmaker's TV production, 'Yudh' (2014), starring the Big B.

Sujoy however maintains, "Why would I direct Ribhu's film? He is more than capable himself. More importantly, if I pull any such silly stunt, Amitji, Vidya and Nawaz will take my case. They signed the film for Ribhu, not me."
