Hong Kong cult thriller 'Infernal Affairs' to have Bollywood remake

Yesterday, producer Sunir Kheterpal and Warner Bros India announced a collaboration to produce the desi version. Directed by Andrew Lau and Alan Mak, the film revolves around a police officer who infiltrates a crime syndicate.

The director and the cast has yet to be ascertained. Scorsese adapted the film as The Departed, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon. It won four Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director.
