"We're grateful to Harshvardhan who has clicked amazing photos of the kittens, which will help us find them homes" Sachin Bangera, PETA India associate director of celebrity and public relations, said in a statement.
Both the female kittens were found abandoned on the streets and now they are looking for permanent loving homes.
Bangera also mentioned that Harshvardhan's visit to the PETA office was at the "purrfect time".
"He is a true angel for animals," he added.
This isn't the first time that Harshvardhan has stepped up to support the cause of animals. The "Sanam Teri Kasam" actor had earlier starred in a campaign to prevent abuse of elephants.
