Last evening, Govinda vented his ire towards the 'Jagga Jasoos' makers, Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor, for cutting him out from the fantasy drama. Recently, Basu reportedly stated that Govinda is not part of the cast. In a series of tweets, Chi Chi alleged that he was taken for a ride.

He wrote, "I gave full respect to the Kapoor family and did the film because he is my senior's son. I was told I will get the script. I was told they will narrate the film in South Africa. I didn't charge a signing amount; made no contracts. I was unwell and on drips, but still travelled to South Africa for the shoot. There were various negative stories and articles against me and that's how the film was remembered for three years. I did my job as an actor and if the director is not happy it's completely his call (sic)."

Govinda, who played Ranbir's father, is certainly in no mood to let bygones be bygones.
