It's been ten years of Pankaj Udhas' ghazal festival and each year, Talat Aziz has been a part of it.
This year too, the talented ghazal singer is excited about the two-day festival, that begins today. “I will sing some of Mehdi Hassansaab’s ghazals too as I was his shagird (disciple),” he says.

As for the rest of his list, Talat says it depends on the kind of audience that comes. “Ghazals come from the heart, so it’s not possible to decide a list beforehand,” he says.
But one thing that he’s sure of is that this year too, the ghazal festival will be a remarkable one. “That’s because we sing from our hearts and anything that comes from the heart is always appreciated,” he says with a smile.u00a0
