What's it about: A tried-and-tested formula only works when there's every ingredient in proper measure. Anything goes awry and you could end up with something altogether unwholesome.
After sharing a drink at a pub, car crook Veeru mentors Jai, a mechanic into his trade. Of course, Jai isn't all he seems. He's an undercover cop, for crying out loud (like you didn't see that coming). Veeru feels betrayed and they slug it out.
He manages to shoot at Jai and escape the country. Meanwhile, there's someone who doesn't want to see either of them alive. Veeru's boss, Tejpal (a throwback to the days when villains and dons would have unimaginative names) wants a diary Veeru's got. Running is the name of the game here. And two hours running time seems like a pretty long distance.
What's hot: The weather. The new chick in office. Steamed rice. Anything but this film.

What's not: There's this one golden rule about buddy flicks. For them to work they have to be fultoo entertainers. You can't expect a half-baked concoction. Puneet Sira's I Proud still seems watchable when compared to this one. You want to be entertained? You're at the wrong screen.
Okay, so it's not altogether horrible but what goes against it is that it had the potential to do so much better. There is zero chemistry between the lead pair (Khemu and Khan). The writing is stale. Also, wish I had taken my mp3 player along, so I could play it at full blast while suffering the largely forgettable music.
