Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, who rose to fame by playing Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan's 'Dangal', wowed her fans by posting pictures from her latest photo shoot. In the snapshots, Fatima looks stunning in a halter neck monokini with high waist shorts. She is seen posing by a pristine beach in Maldives.

Fatima's pictures, however, garnered negative response from some netizens who shamed her for wearing a swimsuit and dressing inappropriately during the holy month of Ramzan. Here are screenshots of some comments she received on the photos:

Fatima Sana Shaikh made a successful Bollywood debut last year as wrestler Geeta Phogat in the Nitesh Tiwari-directed movie 'Dangal'. Aamir Khan played her on-screen father Mahavir Singh Phogat. Fatima Sana Shaikh is all set to work with her 'Dangal' co-star Aamir Khan again in 'Thugs of Hindostan'.

The Yash Raj Films project will be helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who earlier directed Aamir in 'Dhoom 3'. The movie also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. It is the first time that Bachchan and Aamir are collaborating on a film. The filming has begun in Malta and the movie is slated to release on Diwali 2018.

Having played daughter to Aamir Khan in 'Dangal', Fatima Sana Shaikh is now keen to share screen space with her original reel daddy Kamal Haasan. The fresh-faced actress was only five when she acted with the south superstar in the 1997 film 'Chachi 420' as his little girl, Bharti, but hardly has any memories of her first acting experience.

After the film, Fatima went on to appear in various television series and also did bit roles in films like 'Tahaan' (2008), 'Bittoo Boss' (2012) and 'Akaash Vani' (2013).
