It's been commonly seen in history that the main reason behind all real battles are women.

Everything's fair in love and war!

Well, history’s repeating itself! Debutant writer director Amjad Khan’s film Le gaya Saddam sees a battle being fought. But this battle is neither for chairs nor for power; neither for money nor for the country. CS takes a look at this unique battle for love:

Comedy of errors?
Saddam (Raghubir Yadav) is a 70-years-old Unani hakim who treats every sexually challenged person in his village. His ladla grandson Sher Khan (Chirag Patil) does nothing but love Munni (Sufi Sayyad), the most beautiful girl in the area. Everything’s fine till suddenly Saddam gets married to Munni and she turns Sher Khan’s grandmother! Saddam challenges himself every day to win over Munni’s heart with enormous love, attention, accolades and gifts and Sher Khan’s life turns to hell as he has to watch Munni romance his grandfather. Now what on earth made Munni marry Saddam when she too was in love with Sher Khan? Is this the effect of Saddam’s Unani medicine? The film Le Gaya Saddam is the answers to all conflicts, wrapped in a hilarious and comical manner.

Steeped in history
With a never-before-told story and breathtakingly timeless historic location of Murshidabad, West Bengal, each and every character builds up smoothly. Murshidabad is situated at the bank of the Ganga River and based on Mughal culture. This place was East India Company’s main business platform; they had started ruling India after defeating Nawab Siraj ud daulah in the war of Palashi at 1757. It’s a virgin location and is full of old Mughal architecture.

A complete entertainer
Raghuvir Yadav’s presence itself sends our expectations soaring as he always delivers something new. The songs of the film perfectly support the emotions of the characters. Singers Roop Kumar Rathod, Shiddhant Madhav, Anushka Manchanda, Shruti Pathak, Amjad Khan, Krishna and Mamta sharma have done justice to the songs. Producers Amjad Khan, Umesh Gautam and Sajesh Kumar have chosen strong technicians. DOP Madhu.S Rao, editor Praveen B. Angre, fight master Parvez Khan, sound designer Asfaque Rentia have done their job skillfully. Mainak Choudhury’s background score merges perfectly with the script.u00a0
