Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan were spotted shooting on the sets of their upcoming film 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' in Mumbai.

Buzz is that Vidya essays the character of a woman trapped in a loveless marriage, while Emraan Hashmi plays her love interest and Rajkummar Rao portrays her husband in the film.

Emraan Hashmi plays Vidya Balan's love interest in 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'

'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt under the banner Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios. The film is touted to be an intense love story and is loosely based on the love story of Bhatt's parents, Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his stepmother.

This is Emraan and Vidya's third film together, after the 2011 hit 'Dirty Picture' and later an unsuccessful 'Ghanchakkar' in 2013. 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' also stars Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role.

The movie marks Emraan's return to Vishesh Films after a gap of three years. The 35-year-old actor, who is also Bhatt's nephew, gave hits with his banner like 'Murder', 'Murder 2' and 'Jannat'. His last film with Bhatt was 'Raaz 3D' in 2012.

'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' is slated to release on June 12, 2015.
