She's been to Singapore several times, but this trip was her most special. Not only because she was attending a family friend's wedding there, but also because she was able to discover some new places like the recently-opened Universal Studios and the Sands Bay Hotel (with the highlight being the casino.) Universal appeal
Visiting the Universal Studios was a fantastic experience. We saw the making of a Hollywood film and show something like a broadway performance with dances and the works! I didn't know that the Universal Studio had so many rides. You had the Far Far Away Land, Jurassic Park Land, Sci-Fi Land, and even the Egyptian Land where they had the very crazy mummy ride! The highlight of my trip was playing with a baby dinosaur at the studios. Diana, was adorable and very real!

I also visited the Sentosa Island and the regular shopping places like Orchard Road, Bugis Junction and the Marina Square.u00a0

Shop stop
Shopping was fab as usual. I got lucky at the casiono and won Rs 10,000 and landed up buying a Guess watch. But,u00a0 the best purchase of my trip was my laptop! It was very expensive but worth every penny. I also bought a handycam so I could take home some fantasttic memories. I also indulged in a lot of apparel shopping from Zara, Forever 21, Miss Selfridges and Bebe.

Fab food
Being vegetarian, my choice of food was limited but I really enjoyed the local food. And I had the most amazing thai curry rice and the cheese pretzel. I also enjoyed the bread ice cream and the amazing fresh juices. I'm already suffering from the withdrawal symptoms.
