Model-turned-actress Diana Penty, who will be seen sharing screen space with Farhan Akhtar for the first time in her upcoming film 'Lucknow Central', believes her character Gayatri Kashyap is a strong-headed woman in this men's world.
Talking exclusively to ANI, Diana shared, 'I am trying to make conscious decisions these days by choosing different kind of roles.'
Talking about her upcoming film, the 'Cocktail' actress shared, 'In my upcoming film 'Parmanu' also, I am playing a unique character as I want to keep on trying different characters onscreen.'
The 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' actress in the film plays the character of Gayatri Kashyap, who works for an NGO and helps prisoners to reintegrate into society once they come out of jail.
'Lucknow Central' exhibits the tale of a simple ambitious man caught in a tragedy that changes his life forever. The film thrives on ambition, passion, friendship and determination.
Kishen Mohan Girotra, played by Farhan Akhtar, is an aspiring singer, who idolises Manoj Tiwari in the small town of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Kishen's world turns upside down when he is falsely accused of a murder and is sent to Lucknow Central jail.
'Lucknow Central' has ensemble star cast like Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Uday Tikekar, Sukh Kunwar to name a few.
