Following the failure of CC2C and Delhi-6 at the box-office, Samir Karnik has stalled the shooting of his film Curfew based on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Chandni Chowk

In the footsteps of the key accused in the 1984 Sikh riots in Delhi getting a clean chit from the court, comes

another dismaying bit of news from tinsel town. Samir Karnik has postponed the shooting of his Curfew, which is based on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots that broke out in the country following Indira Gandhi's assassination.

Also, the film's producers don't see the market welcoming another Chandni Chowk saga in the near future.
"We need to look at the project in a different setting, as we can't have it limited to Chandni Chowk any more," said Karnik. So now, the cast will just have to wait until the film is relocated.

Star cast
Curfew's eclectic cast comprises Mithun, Tabu, Prabhudeva, Arya Babbar and Karnik's favourites Bobby Deol and Vatsal Seth.
