Shah Rukh Khan and others to perform at builder's wedding on April 30 Election Day

A starry wedding is all set to take place on Election Day (April 30) in Mumbai. The dulha is the nephew of Kanti Gowani (Kamla Group). The starry guest list (and performers) includes Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Bipasha Basu.

Showstoppers

Says a source connected to the wedding, "It will be one of the biggest weddings of the year. There will be two pre-wedding shows on April 30 and May 2. Both the shows are being scripted, coordinated and directed by GS Entertainment. The first show will have Shah Rukh, Bipasha, Rani and Emraan Hashmi. The second will have stunts along with performances by Pritam, Celina Jaitly, Neha Dhupia, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Javed Jaaferi."

The source adds, "The second show is something that Mumbai has never seen before with cars blasting across the stage and bikes whizzing past. Shiamak Davar is choreographer for the first show while Pappu-Mallu have choreographed the second. Rakshanda Khan will compere the first show."

When quizzed about the fact if SRK and other stars were performing at the shaadi, Kanti Gowani says, "Nothing like that is happening. It's a very private affair." So then what about the invitation cards alongside which carries the names and photos of the stars performing?

SRK to enthrall
Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently in South Africa for the IPL, will be flying to Mumbai on April 30 to cast his vote. It is learnt that he will arrive in a chartered flight from SA. Later in the day, SRK will perform at Nikhil Gowani's nephew's wedding. Apparently, SRK has been paid a whopper.
