French comedy-drama 'The Intouchables' (2011) will be presented with a twist in its Bollywood avatar. While the original featured an old, quadriplegic aristocrat and his young caregiver, the Hindi remake will see two young actors essaying the two characters.

Director Mohit Suri, who has been roped in by Karan Johar to helm the desi version, says, “I will start working on the Intouchables remake as soon as Hamari Adhuri Kahani releases. Some detailing in the script is yet to be done and the casting process will soon begin,” he added.
While the names of Aditya Roy Kapur and Varun Dhawan did the rounds soon after the project was announced, the director is non-committal about the casting. “I haven’t approached Varun as reports claim, but Aditya is someone I really want to work with sooner or later. But since it’s the story of two young boys, I will have to check with the actors for their dates,” he adds.
