Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty says she looks upto Anushka Sharma and Alia Bhatt as inspirations and finds the latter extremely hardworking.

The actress, who made her debut with "Hero", said she lauds Anushka's film choices and appreciates how Alia has made a name for herself in a short span of time.

"I've looked up to Anushka Sharma, she has inspired me, specially how she has taken her career so well. She is producing films, started of at a young age, she is making the films she wants to, producing the ones she believes in," Athiya told reporters.

"Also Alia (is an inspiration). She is my age but she has achieved so much in such a short span of time. She is so hardworking. I think everybody has their own journey," she added.

The 24-year-old actress was speaking at the launch of Nina Lekhi's book "Bag it All" which chronicles the journey of the entrepreneur.

When asked if women today can juggle both, work and family, Athiya said, "Yes. The biggest example right now is Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has given birth to a beautiful boy and she is still owing it, doing whatever she does best.

"I think times have changed. Women are becoming more powerful. There are more films which are being written around women."

It isn't just the ladies on Bollywood who inspire Athiya as the actress says it is her father, Sunil Shetty, whose work she looks up to.

When asked if she feels the actor too should pen a book about his journey in the industry, Athiya said, "His journey has been very inspirational. When I look at his journey, where he has come, how much he has achieved, I realise I have done nothing. I don't know if he will get down to do that. But may be one day."

The actress is all geared up for her next "Mubarakan", which also stars Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
