To maintain the authenticity of the era, Ashu has used vintage cars from the period in the film. The cars will be seen in important scenes of the uprising between Surjya Sen's team and the British officers.

After much looking around, we found them all in Goa but they had to be repainted and overhauled to get them into working condition." Lawrence D'souza adds that since the cars were really old, the cast had to be trained to use them.

"They have very different gears and some don't even have brakes. The actors had to learn how to drive them. Sometimes, the cars would just stop working and had to be pushed."
D'souza got the cars from Pradeep Naik, a Goa resident.
"He had these cars and it was great that they were available close to the location we were shooting. We had a special mechanic who would be with us all the time if there were any problems.
