Arjun Rampal will appear in a public awareness campaign talking about girl trafficking. The actor shot for the ad film a few weeks back. Directed by Kunal Vohra of Altair Films, it will be telecast across all leading channels in the coming days.

Kunal explains the concept of the public awareness ad film, "The idea was to draw parallels between commodities and human beings and say that they are not the same.

I went to Arjun with the concept and he quite liked it. He was kicked about being a part of it. We shot the ad in his house. Despite his commitments, he managed to take some time out."

It is learnt that Arjun also did some reading and studied facts on the topic. "I briefed him about the statistics and the growing rate of child trafficking in our metros. He was not only alarmed but also shocked."

Made for the NGO Oasis India, this public awareness ad is 30 seconds long. "The ad is ready for telecast and at the moment, I am talking to various channels who can give us air time to play the ad. We keep it 30 seconds cause mostu00a0 NGOs don't have the kind of money needed to buy airtime."

We, too

Kunal has also made other ads on various issues with the following actors

Neha Dhupiau00a0- We have worked together on an ad that deals with substance abuse, especially alcohol.

Gul Panagu00a0- She's very passionate and vocal about several burning issues. It was a great experience to work with Gul. We did a film on climate change and how it's the most important issue in today's time.
