Anurag Basu: Had no idea Kangana Ranaut will become such a huge star

Filmmaker Anurag Basu, who directed Kangana Ranaut's first Bollywood film, Gangster (2006), is happy to see her grow as an actor. "Kangana is fantastic. She is growing with each film. I remember, before we started shooting for Gangster, we had a workshop. I saw a spark in her, but had no idea that she will become such a huge star. I feel proud when I look at her growth," says Basu, who also collaborated with Ranaut on Life In A Metro (2007) and Kites (2010).
