A source tells mid-day that the veteran actor has been spending several hours understanding Acharya's vision for the film, even providing his inputs on approaching a scene. "The veteran actor is taking such a keen interest in the film, that he even got into an argument with Acharya on how a particular scene must be shot. The shooting was stalled for three hours before Aamir played peacemaker and got the unit to resume," says the source, further adding that Khan even attempted to lighten the atmosphere when filming resumed.

When mid-day reached out to Acharya, the director denied the rumours with a pithy, "There is no truth to this," further heaping praise on Bachchan stating, "He is a delight to work with, and is extremely professional. We are having a great time while filming this project. We share a warm rapport, so, I'm shocked at this disrespectful speculation." Bachchan remained unavailable for comment.
