Amitabh Bachchan's 'Sarkar 3' to lock horns with Ranbir-Katrina's Jagga Jasoos'

With filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma postponing the release of the third instalment of his political-drama, Sarkar, to April 7, the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer will now clash with Jagga Jasoos at the box office. The latter features ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

While the reason behind the decision, announced in a statement on Tuesday, is not clear, Sarkar 3 would have enjoyed a free run at the box office had it hit screens on March 17, as initially planned.

The film will see Amitabh reprising his role as Subhash Nagre with an elaborate star cast including Rohini Hattangadi, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy, Bharat Dabholkar, Yami Gautam and Amit Sadh.
