Often the ones to mark birthdays with a trademark family get-together, the Bachchans, we hear, will deviate from regular for AB junior's 42nd celebration. Abhishek, actor-wife Aishwarya Rai, and daughter Aaradhya are set to jet off to Australia to mark his special day on February 5, without the family in tow. A source attributes father Amitabh Bachchan's absence from the bash to a "shoulder injury which is causing nagging pain."

While Aishwarya will be there several days earlier for a brand shoot, Abhishek will join her after wrapping up a series of meetings in the city. The source says, "The family wanted them to enjoy some time alone this year." After reports of bickering between Aishwarya and Abhishek's sister Shweta hit headlines last month, the absence of the latter from the do appears to give credence to the rumours. The source doesn't dismiss the suggestion while stating, "Minor squabbles happen in all households," but promises that there are no "major concern".
