IT'S Mother's Day this weekend and actress Aarti Chhabria has a special surprise planned for her mum. She is gifting her mother Sunita Chhabria a shopping holiday.
Aarti says, "My mom and I are going on a little vacation for three to four days. I have got a couple of days off from my work which I plan to utilise to surprise my mom. I am planning to take my mom on a short foreign shopping trip (we all know how therapeutic shopping is for women)." Although Aarti hasn't decided what the destination is, Bangkok seems pretty good. 
"My mother got married at the age of 18 and I was born immediately after nine months. So my mother and I are more friends than mother-daughter. I have talked to her about my first crush, the first time I took a cigarette in my hand with her and shared many other secrets with her," says Aarti.u00a0
The best part is that it never backfired on her. "We share a mutual respect for each other because of which I never do things that I can't tell my mom. I am so blessed that I have my mom as my friend, philosopher and guide!" she signs off.
