Plans for the day
Well, I don't have any major plans for my birthday. I will bring it in partying with friends, and will lunch or dine with my family. Basically, I want to spend some quality time with my near and dear ones.
Childhood memories
As a kid, I used to wait the entire year for my birthday. The countdown would begin a week before the actual date. Being the youngest in the family, I was the pampered one. Everything had to done as per my wish, because it was my birthday week. My mom used to bake a variety of cakes, right from doll-shaped cakes to bunnies. We had a big party at my home in Ahmednagar's army quarters. My mom and sisters used to prepare a week in advance, and I wasn't allowed to observe the preparations. In short, I was quite the princess!
Gifting fun
I love gifts and I get really pissed if someone doesn't get me the right gift (laughs). But it is the thought that matters. I remember the time when I got my first bicycle. I wasn't expecting it at all, and there it was parked outside my house! The pair of diamond earrings gifted by my parents on my 21st birthday is also very special.
Wishing for happiness
A happy and healthy life is all that I want. And I want the happiness of all my loved ones as that's what keeps me happy. I want to have a peaceful year, but at the same time, I want to discover more about myself. Frankly, I don't have any complaints. I have travelled a lot, had great opportunities and have a good lifestyle. One can't ask for more!
