Paresh Rawal, who shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Sanju' in 2018, is celebrating his 67th birthday today

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal is one of the prominent figures in the Indian film industry who has impressed audiences with his impeccable acting prowess and on-screen versatility.

The actor who made his acting debut in the 80s has given us several memorable characters like Babu Bhaiya from 'Hera Pheri', Kanjibhai from 'Oh My God', Tikku from 'Tamanna', and Kashinath Sahu from 'Mohra' among several others.
The actor who will celebrate his 67th birthday on Tuesday, May 30, legendary actor Paresh Rawal shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Sanju', a biopic drama based on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.
While Ranbir Kapoor played the titular role of Sanjay Dutt in the blockbuster 2018 movie, Paresh Rawal was seen essaying the role of his father, the late actor Sunil Dutt on the silver screen.
A few years ago, in one of the interviews, the veteran actor praised Ranbir Kapoor and called him a 'talented actor'. While speaking about his 'Sanju' co-star, Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh said, "I have worked with various actors, but working with Ranbir was something else. He is a talented actor. And, let me tell you, playing Sanjay Dutt, who we see every now and then on-screen, is certainly not easy for any actor. The way Ranbir internalised and delivered the character was [commendable]. He is an inspiration for the next generation."
The actor who worked with Rajkumar Hirani for the first time in 'Sanju', considered himself 'lucky' to be a part of Hirani's 2018 directorial. Working with Rajkumar Hirani for the first time was also special for Rawal. "I think, I am lucky to be a part of this special film. I was destined to be a part of a film that some of the finest talents like Raju, Abhijat Joshi [writer] and Ranbir are part of," Rawal added.
Meanwhile, on the workfront, Paresh Rawal is all set to reprise his iconic role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the much-awaited third instalment of the 'Hera Pheri' franchise, 'Hera Pheri 3'. Whereas, Ranbir Kapoor who was last seen in 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' will next be seen in 'Animal'.
