'Aligarh' trailer gets a thumbs-up from Bollywood

Taking to his Twitter handle, Abhishek Bachchan tweeted "Loved the trailer of #Aligarh powerful, poignant. Beautiful. Looking forward to seeing 1 of my fav actors @BajpayeeManoj .best to the team."

Applauding Manoj, film-maker Farah Khan shared the movie's trailer and wrote, "Check my talented friend @BajpayeeManoj s trailer of Aligarh..https://erosnow.com/#!/movie/watch/1048711/aligarh... Well done Manoj."

Indian stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat tweeted, "Aligarh Trailer. Looks nice. *Googles everything about the case*..."

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the upcoming flick is based on the real life story of Professor Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

The movie is slated to hit the theatres on February 26.
