Ranveer Singh flaunted his wedding ring presented by Deepika Padukone at an event in Mumbai amid rumours of a divorce

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh recently deleted several pictures from his Instagram handle including the ones from his wedding with Deepika Padukone. This led to speculations and rumours of divorce between the couple. Soon after the rumours started doing the rounds, the father-to-be was seen at an event in Mumbai. At the event the actor seemingly put the speculations to rest.

At the Tiffany store launch event, Ranveer was asked about his fondest pieces of jewellery and flaunted his wedding ring presented by his wife. Talking to Vogue, the actor said, “Personal, sentimental value attached to them are my favourite, most dear pieces,” before talking about his wedding ring. Ranveer said, “One of the rings that are very dear to me is this one — it’s my wedding ring, presented to me by my wife. The other one is a platinum engagement ring. And there’s of course my mother’s diamond earrings and my grandmother’s pearls.”
Ranveer Singh has archived all content predating 2023, including his wedding pictures, rather than specifically deleting them. A while back, Deepika had also archived all their wedding pictures barring two posts.
The couple, married for over five years, announced their pregnancy earlier this year through a heartwarming post. Their decision to embrace parenthood comes as no surprise, with Deepika having previously expressed her and Ranveer's shared excitement for starting a family.
On Wednesday, the couple was spotted at the Mumbai airport. Reportedly, they were returning from their babymoon from an undisclosed location. A video of Deepika pushing a camera away immediately went viral. The couple was seen getting out of the car and walking away when the actress noticed a camera fixed on them. She hid the lens of the camera and pushed it away before walking away.
On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika are a part of Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'. It also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff. The film is all set to be released in theatres on the occasion of Independence Day 2024.
Ranveer, on the other hand, will headline Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3', which will arrive in 2025. In 1978, the character was embodied by Amitabh Bachchan. In 2006, Don was reimagined and brought to life by Shah Rukh Khan. The third installment also stars Kiara Advani.
