Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their baby boy. In a joint post, the couple revealed that they welcomed their baby on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritya(May 10). They also thanked the doctors who guided Yami's delivery.

The couple posted a graphic of Lord Shiva holding a baby boy. The text on the graphic read: "We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beloved son. Vedavid, who graced us with this birth on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritya. Please shower him with all your kind blessings and love."
Sharing the picture, they wrote, "We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible."

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar announced the pregnancy in February this year at the trailer launch of their film 'Article 370'. Back then, Gautam flaunted her baby bump and happily spoke about welcoming their first child. The couple had tied the knot in 2021. They had an intimate ceremony in the presence of their family in Yami's hometown. The couple had met during the making of the National Award-winning film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'. The film had marked Aditya's debut directorial. The film that starred Vicky Kaushal in the lead also saw Yami play a powerful role.
