About the Ambani festivities
The Ambanis and Merchants hosted a four-day lavish pre-wedding celebration on a cruise. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities commenced on Wednesday on a luxury cruise ship in Palermo, Italy. The ship had three pit stops - Rome, Cannes, and Portofino. The guests were welcomed with an extravagant lunch followed by a party in the evening, with the theme being ‘Starry Night’. The next day, guests were taken to Rome for a late-night party on the ship, followed by a black-tie event in Cannes on the weekend. The final leg of the celebrations was held at Portofino in Italy.
The wedding festivities are meticulously planned, adhering to the traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The main ceremonies will commence on Friday, July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional Indian attire. The celebrations will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad, where attendees will receive divine blessings. The final event, Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14. For this grand occasion, guests have been asked to dress in 'Indian chic.'
