Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that Bundelkhand has made its mark in history through art, culture, and valor.

The Future of Bundelkhand Will be a Developed Bundelkhand

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the future of Bundelkhand will be a developed Bundelkhand. The development of industries in the state will continue without interruption. The state government will provide full support to even the smallest of entrepreneurs. The implementation of the Ken-Betwa project will enhance irrigation capacity over 250,000 hectares in Bundelkhand, transforming the region. An airport will be constructed in Sagar, which will enhance opportunities in the aviation sector. The central government is fully supporting aviation activities in several locations in the state, which will, in turn, increase employment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the inaugural session of the Regional Industry Conclave in Sagar.


Investment proposals worth ₹23,181 crore received at the Sagar Regional Industry Conclave

  • 27,375 jobs will be created

Investment Facilitation Centers Launched in Six Districts
During the inauguration of the RIC Sagar, a short film titled "Advantage MP," highlighting industrial investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, was presented. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually inaugurated the MPIDC's regional office located in Sagar. He also inaugurated Investment Facilitation Centers and the regional office of MPIDC in six districts of Sagar division: Sagar, Panna, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Chhatarpur, and Damoh. Additionally, a virtual inauguration of the MPIDC office in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) was also conducted. An MoU was signed between the Sagar Municipal Corporation and MPIDC for the supply of treated water for industrial use in Sindhgwah. The Chief Minister also issued letters of intent to 96 industrial units, which will be allocated 240 acres of land, proposing a capital investment of ₹1,560 crore and creating over 5,900 jobs.

Winners of the Bundelkhand Innovation Challenge (Hackathon) Awarded
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav awarded prizes to the winners of the Bundelkhand Innovation Challenge (Hackathon): Mr. Sujit Tiwari from Bamboo World took the first prize, Mr. Ashish Sharma from Service Hub the second, and Mr. Vipul Singh Parmar from Nimbus Gaming the third. Ms. Nilay Sharma from Jai Anag Gayatri Private Limited was recognized as the Best Woman Entrepreneur. Social media creator Mr. Rajeev Yadav was also awarded for his contribution to book audio.

Foreign Representatives Also Attend the Regional Industry Conclave
The inaugural session of the Regional Industry Conclave saw the presence of several prominent figures, including the Ambassador of Mongolia, Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, CEO of TW, Mr. Ingo Seiler, and Consul General of Thailand, Mr. Donavit Poolsawat, among others.

Launch of English Edition of "Madhya Pradesh Sandesh”
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched the English edition of "Madhya Pradesh Sandesh," published by the Public Relations Department, which includes coverage of President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Madhya Pradesh, the state's first Janman colony in Shivpuri, and other achievements.

Secretary and Commissioner of Public Relations, Dr Sudam Khade,was especially present on this occasion’.

Operation of a Data Center in Sagar Recognized as a Major Achievement
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav noted that large-scale investments encourage local businesses. This conclave will benefit the entire division, with industrial and commercial activities set to commence in all districts. Significant investments, including ₹120 crore in the petroleum sector, are underway, and the establishment of a data center in Sagar represents a crucial step, amounting to ₹1,700 crore with approximately 1,000 jobs to be created. He highlighted that new six-lane and four-lane roads will bring benefits to the Bundelkhand region, and investments are also coming in renewable energy. The government continues to support agriculture and livestock activities, promoting growth in the mineral sector across the entire state, including Bundelkhand.

Promotion of Local Enterprises Including Beedi and Incense Sticks
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that Bundelkhand has made its mark in history through art, culture, and valor. Support will be fully extended to those involved in silver work, beedi, and incense stick industries. A cluster will be developed in Sagar to encourage activities related to silver. He mentioned that the regional conclave is creating a conducive environment for establishing new enterprises locally while also accelerating the establishment of important state-level industries.

Bundelkhand Region to Gain New Recognition
Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Mr. Rajput stated that the Regional Industry Conclave is encouraging young entrepreneurs and making their dreams come true. Initiatives are also underway to rejuvenate the traditional incense stick and beedi industries in Sagar, with experiments aimed at improving cancer treatment facilities for citizens. He expressed confidence in Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's efforts to establish various industries in the Sagar region, which will result in new recognition for Bundelkhand.

Regional Industry Conclave: A Unique Innovation in the Country
MSME Minister Mr. Kashyap credited Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's initiative and vision as essential for the organization of the Regional Industry Conclave, which is fostering enthusiasm for entrepreneurship at the local level. This conclave is a unique innovation in the country, promoting industry and commercial activities reliant on agriculture.

Bundelkhand Region Abundant in Mineral, Tourism, and Other Development Opportunities
MP and State President Mr. V.D. Sharma stated that the Bundelkhand region has immense potential for industrial development in minerals, tourism, and more. Madhya Pradesh has made a distinctive mark in the country concerning cleanliness initiatives, and special efforts are underway to develop Khajuraho as a film city.

Integrated Steel Plant in Niwari with an Investment of ₹3,200 Crore
Mr. J.P. Agarwal from Pacific Meta-Steel announced an integrated steel plant in Niwari with an investment of ₹3,200 crore, which will create 10,000 jobs and generate annual revenue of approximately ₹1,000 crore. He also plans to initiate activities in the medical sector in Madhya Pradesh.

Bansal Group to Invest ₹1,350 Crore
Investors praised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s efforts. Mr. Sunil Bansal from the Bansal Group announced their involvement in the medical industry, with kidney transplant facilities established in Sagar. Mr. Bansal proposed investments of ₹1,350 crore for four super-specialty hospitals, a five-star hotel, and initiatives in the energy sector.

Sagar Group Plans Approximately ₹1,400 Crore Investment in Dyeing and Processing Sector
Mr. Sudhir Agarwal from Sagar Group shared that they operate industries near Tamot, close to Bhopal, and are seeking new investments in the textile sector. The group is active across various fields encompassing education, health, and housing. Their plan includes an investment of nearly ₹1,400 crore in the dyeing and processing sector, which will create employment opportunities. He emphasized their principle of cooperation rather than competition.

Madhya Bharat Agro's Significant Investment in Madhya Pradesh
Mr. Pankaj Oswal from Madhya Bharat Agro stated that their largest investments are in Madhya Pradesh, lauding the industry-friendly policies and cooperative approach of the state government. Their group produces single super phosphate in Sagar and has plans for a ₹500 crore investment near Banda in Sagar.

Principal Secretary for Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Mr. Raghavendra Kumar Singh, highlighted that today's Sagar Regional Industry Conclave follows three previous divisional conclaves, with interactive sessions held this year in Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Madhya Pradesh is the second-largest state industrially in the country, hosting India's largest solar power plant. Efforts are underway to enhance infrastructure, creating a conducive environment for investors. State policies encourage entrepreneurs to establish industries in Madhya Pradesh.

Principal Secretary for Mining, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Shukla, provided detailed insights into the mineral resources and ongoing industries in the state, emphasizing the ease of obtaining necessary permits. A national-level event focused on mining activities is set for October 17-18 in Bhopal. A proposal to upgrade Sagar's Dhana airstrip into an airport has been received.

MD of Tourism, Mr. Ilaiya Raja T., mentioned that investments in tourism are generating significant employment opportunities for the youth in the state. Secretary for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Mr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, shared information about ongoing efforts to develop cottage industries. MD of Handicrafts Development Corporation, Mr. Mohit Bundas, informed about existing opportunities in the cottage industry sector in Madhya Pradesh. The conclave witnessed a large turnout of public representatives, officials, and citizens.
