In an important step towards improving healthcare facilities in the community, Mr. Narsi Kularia transferred the Nokha Primary Healthcare Center to the Rajasthan government. In the handover ceremony, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, inaugurated the newly built Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Moolwas village of Nokha block of Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Sunday, 28th July.

Mr. Narsi Kularia, in addition to being a successful industrialist, is a prominent figure in community welfare initiatives. He has sincerely worked towards improving healthcare infrastructure in the region. His vision for the Nokha Primary Healthcare Center began several years ago, in 2020, when he launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project that aimed at enhancing healthcare services in Seelwa. Additionally, the founding bricks of this healthcare center were laid as part of the mission to uplift the community and its healthcare system.

At the inauguration of the PHC, Mr. Narsi Kularia, proudly shared his agenda for empowering the local community. He stated that the PHC will be able to provide benefits and services to thousands of villagers from more than a dozen villages, including Charkra, Seelwa, Dawa, Tant, Kedli, and Badhda.

Furthermore, the inauguration ceremony was attended by many dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Rajasthan-Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Law Minister-Arjun Meghwal, Union Tourism and Culture Minister-Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Health Minister-Gajendra Singh Khimsar, and Food Supply Minister-Sumit Godara. Furthermore, all the distinguished figures praised the Kularia family’s noble initiative and selfless dedication towards serving the community.

The ceremony was graced with the presence of Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who delivered a heartfelt tribute to the Kularia family in their native Marwari language, where he highlighted the Kularia family’s contribution for nation development: “I thank the Kularia family for investing the money in the right place and repaying the debt of the motherland. In addition to the healthcare center, the Narsi family has also designed the interior of the New Parliament Building and Bharat Mandapam. The Kularia family invests its earnings in social welfare without any hesitation.”

Additionally, the Chief Minister expressed his admiration for Mr. Narsi Kularia’s incredible efforts throughout the years by stating, "Service is considered the ultimate religion here. We imbibe the principle of 'Nar Seva Hi Narayan Seva'. We work with the feeling that if you serve a man, it will be equal to serving the Hindu god Narayan. The government will also give full support in such pious works." In addition, the Chief Minister has promised to upgrade this Primary Healthcare Center into a Community Healthcare Center. Therefore, the main agenda for the government is to integrate the PHC into a broader healthcare strategy.

Moreover, the PHC is built to honor the legacy of Sant Shri Dularam Kularia, whose contributions made an everlasting impact on the welfare of society. Sant Shri Dularam Kularia is the father of Mr. Narsi Kularia, Managing Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, and grandfather of Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd. The healthcare center will continue to serve the community with the same dedication and care that Sant Shri Dularam exemplified.

It is crucial to recognize the various ways in which the PHC benefits the community. It not only uplifts society by offering premium healthcare facilities. It is also built to harvest rainwater to support the environment. Built at the remarkable cost of Rs 15 crores, the healthcare center covers 12100 square yards. It has high-tech medical facilities and an operation theatre. Additionally, it has an X-ray, CBC facilities, a 24-hour pharmacy, and an OPD for first aid. Furthermore, the PHC provides 8 and 14 beds for men and women, respectively. And to support the center’s operations in an eco-friendly manner, it has a 50,000-liter rainwater harvesting tank. The emphasis on sustainability and innovation is a true milestone achievement.

While the PHC makes healthcare more accessible to the public. It also ensures a reliable water supply, due to its sustainable features. Therefore, the PHC is truly a pillar of support for the community. The visionary leadership and community-driven initiatives of Mr. Narsi Kularia have uplifted the community in the healthcare as well as the environmental sector.
