A Human Rights Activist & Social Worker from Kerala, Kamal H. Muhamed has recently created a record by bagging two humanitarian awards in a week. The message of human rights, social justice and community welfare have received a great acknowledgement and celebration making his organized commitment a renaissance for hope and change.

On the 28th of August, 2024 Kamal Muhamed received the JCI Humanitarian Puraskaram from Shri. Hebi Eden who is a Member of Parliament in the presence of National President Dr. Rakesh Sharma & Dr. Shabeer Iqbal JCI Cochin President.
The ceremony took place in Cochin as a part of the “Diamond Jubilee” celebration of the Junior Chamber International Cochin, which is an organization of leadership in social issues.
Kamal Muhamed a Writer has been working as the Chairman of the All-India Council of Human Rights Liberties & Social Justice (AICHLS) a signatory member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The recognition also not only addresses the accomplishment of a great artist and philanthropist, but also underlines the changes Kamal has brought to the world as a human rights advocate and social activist. Kamal further stated he devotes this award to victims of Wayanad Landslide Tragedy.
Earlier in the same week Kamal H Muhamed was honoured with another humanitarian accolade from Dada Saheb Phalke International Motivational Award which was given by Hindi Singer Shri. Baljit Singh ji in presence of organization founder Shri. Amol Bhagat at Mumbai.
But this award only strengthens his role as one of the leaders in the sphere of social justice, proving his unyielding work in the humanitarian field and his contribution to society. They have been a great role model in the entire process of advocating for social change because of the passion Kamal has for the marginalized.
However, one cannot say that Kamal’s journey to these achievements was quite uneventful. His life experience as captured in his autobiography Daring Prince- Truth Revealed is a real-life testimony of how the young man rose against the odds to become a successful entrepreneur and a philanthropist. The book was recently officially released through a launching ceremony which took place in the city of Kochi and which was attended by several personalities. The childhood friend of Kamal, Spiritual guru Dr. Mohanji handed over the first copy of the book to Venu Rajamony IFS (Retd). It was organised at Adlux Paragon in Angamaly, which is a place of prestige and it was not just the launch of a memoir, but the celebration of the life of Kamal with all the passion that he has dedicated to the cause of truth and justice.
It also narrates Kamal’s life in Yemen where he was forced to stay during a period of turmoil. This was the situation in which Kamal H Muhamed was to find his true vocation as a humanitarian and as a social worker. Being part of Operation RAHAT, which is an evacuation mission conducted under the leadership of the Government of India only strengthened his image of being a humanitarian leader ready to devote himself to save the lives of fellow human beings.
In Daring Prince, we get a peep into Kamal’s difficult but rewarding life experience. Kamal H Muhamed was born in a poor family background; he had many problems, which forced him to drop out of school in 1980. Nevertheless, these were not the best times for him and they did not discourage him to keep on struggling towards the achievement of his objectives. His life was full of surprises during his stay in the UAE, he was involved in legal battles with his employer over unpaid wages. However, Kamal never lost hope of his freedom even when he was being served with remand terms and other difficult moments. The victory for Kamal was when his employer was convicted for fraudulent activities; it signified his hard work for justice.

Even today after retiring from his active journalism Kamal H Muhamed is the Chairman of AICHLS and Deputy Director of the National Council for News Broadcasting in New Delhi and continues his struggle for Human Rights and Social justice along with Anti Corruption from all quarters creating awareness among the people.
