On the auspicious day of India’s Independence Day, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) joined hands with Dev Creations to host a charitable event at the Anbalayam Orphanage in Salem. The event was organized by Mr. Nagarajan.E and saw the participation of volunteers including Jayashree, Rajkumar Bharathi, Iyyappan, Smasath, Boopathi, Loganathan, and Jack.

The primary aim of the event was to provide essential learning and living supplies to 44 students, equipping them to better face future challenges. The donated items included notebooks, exam sheets, pens, chess boards, skipping ropes, footballs, and food supplies, all of which are expected to significantly enhance the children’s daily learning and recreational activities.

Mr. Ramesh, the head of Anbalayam Orphanage, expressed his deep gratitude for the initiative. He emphasized the critical importance of these supplies for the children's growth and education, especially in an environment where resources are scarce. The support from IYDF and Dev Creations was particularly valuable in this context.

Reflecting on the event, Mr. Nagarajan.E shared his feelings, stating, “I am extremely happy and fulfilled. Seeing the joy on the children’s faces as they received these supplies made all our efforts worthwhile. We look forward to continuing our support by providing more food supplies in the future to help these children.”

This event not only brought warmth and support to the children but also reinforced the collaboration between IYDF and local businesses, working together to assist those in need.
