1. Can you share a brief overview of Rati’s Yoga. Diet Journey since its inception? Please walk us through the same.
Well, Rati Yoga.Diet started as a personal journey for me. Back in 2019, I was struggling with my weight and overall wellness. Determined to make a change, I did my certification as a Holistic Nutritionist. Then I developed a series of diet plan that helped me lose 27 kg! Seeing the incredible transformation in myself, I knew I had to share this with the world. I already had Rati’s app so I decided to share it with our members. My passion for yoga later took me to Rishikesh to do my Yoga Teacher’s Training. Now, we have an amazing community of thousands of women who are transforming their lives with our Speed Slim diet plans, home workout programs, and yoga sessions. I have a beautiful Yoga.Diet Studio on Kailash Colony Market in New Delhi. It’s been an amazing journey of growth, learning, and empowerment. I'm so grateful for everything.

2. What inspired the founding of this platform?
The inspiration behind Rati Beauty was my own transformation journey. Losing 27kg wasn't just about shedding weight. It was more about gaining confidence, energy, and a new outlook on life. I realised that if I could do it, so could others. I wanted to create a platform that provides not just diet plans, but a different approach altogether to wellness. With the help of my incredible team of nutrition experts, fitness trainers, and yoga teachers, we crafted programs that are accessible and effective. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see women across the globe achieving their fitness goals and feeling better about themselves.

3. What are some of the most significant challenges you faced, and how were they overcome?
Like many others, the COVID-19 pandemic was a huge challenge. Suddenly, everyone was stuck at home, and stress levels were through the roof. But it also pushed us to innovate. We amped up our online presence, creating more home workout videos and diet plan challenges to keep our community healthy and active. It was tough, but it made us stronger and more resilient. We grew significantly during this period, both as a brand and as a team. Personally, it taught me the importance of adaptability and staying positive even in the face of adversity.

4. Any special initiatives you've undertaken that benefit the community or society?
Yes, a couple of initiatives I’m particularly proud of. We regularly do “Give and Apple” initiative where we distribute apples poor people around esp on street lights. The idea is instead of handing over a biscuit packet we like to give them a fruit instead.  It’s a great way to give back to the community and a little step where we can initiate healthy eating over junk. We also promote it often on our social media. This has led our followers also do the same at their end.

5. What motivated you to pursue a career in this segment, and how did your educational background shape your professional journey?
My journey into the wellness and beauty industry was quite organic. With an English Honours degree, I initially pursued a career in writing and makeup artistry. Training under renowned makeup artists in India, London, and Paris gave me a unique perspective on beauty and self-care. My own weight loss journey was a turning point that steered me towards nutrition and fitness. Combining my passion for beauty and wellness, I found my calling in helping others achieve their health goals. I did both my certification in Holistic Nutritionist and Yoga Teacher Training. My background allows me to approach wellness from a collective point of view, blending the art of beauty with the science of nutrition.

6. How do you incorporate discipline into your plans?
It is at the core of what we do. Take our 'Speed Slim Weight loss' challenge, for example. It’s based on scientific principles of nutrition, exercise, and habit formation. We use a systematic approach to diet, emphasizing balanced meals, regular physical activity, and consistent routines. Weight loss is not just about cutting calories. It is essentially a science that involves understanding your body, metabolism, and lifestyle. It’s all about achieving sustainable results in a healthy, informed way.
