Dr Vivek Bindra

Recently, in his new YouTube series "Tycoons of India", he talked about Azim Premji, who was once the richest businessman of India.

In this video, Dr Bindra talked about Azim Premji's business journey and told how Azim Premji, who was once the richest businessman of the country, lost his number one position. Azim Premji did not have to start his business from scratch because his grandfather had laid the foundation of this business company.

His father Mohammed Hashim Premji was known as the "Rice King of Burma". At that time the British ruled, due to some of their rules he was not able to trade rice from Burma to India. After which he came to India and started his new business and started his company Wipro.

Had to take over the reins of business at a young age due to father's death Azim Premji's business journey started at a sad turn, at the age of 21, when he was studying at Stanford University, he got the news of his father's death. After which he had to leave everything and come to India. During this time, he had to handle both the grief of his father's departure and the debt-ridden company simultaneously.

When he had to take over the reins of the business at the age of just 21, his own shareholders raised questions on him. But Azim Premji did not bow down to the circumstances and kept moving forward, the proof of his ability is in front of the whole world today. He took this business, which started with rice and oil, forward so much that today he works in many fields.

Azim Premji had the ability to think ahead of time, in the 1970s itself he understood that computers are the future. That is why in 1978 when the foreign company IBM left India, he started computer manufacturing in India itself and captured the Indian market.

Due to donating too much, he could not become the richest businessman of the country Anand Mahindra is as much a successful businessman as he is a philanthropist. The proof of this is that in the year 2000 he was the richest businessman of the country and remained so for many years but today he has come to the 17th position. The reason for this is not that his profit in business has reduced, the reason is that he donates a large part of his profit.

Today Azim Premji Foundation has a whole team that works on using that money for the good of the society. Today they have adopted 3600 schools and work in collaboration with 1150 NGOs. He is considered the "Bill Gates of India" and the "Daanveer Karna" of today's era.

This business journey of Azim Premji is an inspiration for everyone, Dr. Vivek Bindra is going to tell the stories of such successful business tycoons in his "Tycoons of India" series. This series can be seen on his YouTube channel which will run for the next 52 weeks.
