Born with a passion for engineering and problem-solving, Dinesh Kumar Saraogi graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, in 1981. DK Saraogi’s journey with JSPL began in 1988 when he joined as Works Manager at the Raigarh plant. By March 2022, he had ascended to the position of CEO, overseeing all operations and expansion projects for one of the largest steel manufacturers in India. - Angul Mega Project: Conceptualizing and commissioning India’s largest blast furnace and the nation’s first coal gasification plant integrated with DRI technology, setting a benchmark in cost-effective and sustainable production.
- Capacity Expansion: Scaling the company’s operations to record levels of production while driving innovation and efficiency.
- Profit Maximization: His financial strategies improved EBITA, streamlined working capital, and ensured long-term profitability for JSPL’s various units.
His work at JSPL remains a testament to his ability to align large-scale projects with business goals, ensuring both technical and financial success.
Leading the Vulcal Green Steel Revolution
As the visionary behind the Vulcal Green Steel Project in Oman, DK Saraogi once again demonstrated his knack for innovation.
