I began my journey into painting during my early years and pursued my passion through high school, where I specialized in art and graphic design. Continuing my artistic education, I enrolled at the Art and Architecture University in Tehran, Iran. Throughout my time there, I delved into various crafts, honing my skills and exploring different mediums. This curiosity and exploration eventually led me to fall in love with the world of art and design.
2. How did your education in graphic art, photography, and painting influence your approach to interior design?
As I progressed through my educational journey, exploring various artistic disciplines, I discovered a profound passion for creating living spaces through architecture and interior design, particularly within the residential sector. This newfound interest allowed me to blend my skills in art, craft, and color harmoniously. Designing and shaping environments became not just a profession but a joyful expression of creativity.

3. What inspired your decision to start Aria Interior Design in New Delhi?
After dedicating six years to my craft in India, immersing myself in a multitude of companies and exploring the intricate layers of architecture and interior design, I embarked on a new journey to establish my own firm. During my time in India, I had the opportunity to travel extensively across the globe, encountering diverse cultures and meeting skilled artisans whose craftsmanship deeply inspired me. With the inception of Aria Interior Design, I aspired to weave the rich experiences and profound insights from my travels and professional endeavours into every project.

Technology has revolutionized how we engage with and draw inspiration from design, making it more accessible and interconnected than ever. This access not only broadens our aesthetic horizons but also empowers us to integrate and adapt ideas from different cultures into our creative endeavors.
Amidst this digital abundance, I find that one of the most enriching sources of inspiration remains rooted in personal experience: traveling and immersing oneself in different cultures. There is a profound richness in physically experiencing the art, architecture, crafts, and traditions of various societies.
7. Can you share a few details on the latest project you have worked on and how was the experience?
Working on our recent contemporary residential project was deeply enriching and fulfilling for our entire team. From the initial conceptualization to the final execution, every stage of the project presented unique challenges and opportunities, allowing us to showcase our creativity, expertise, and commitment to excellence.
Our primary goal was to develop a residence that not only reflected contemporary aesthetics but also offered practical functionality tailored to the daily lives of our clients. This involved meticulously balancing form and function, ensuring that every design decision contributed to both the visual appeal and usability of the space. Whether optimizing layout efficiency, selecting materials that harmonized with the overall design concept, or integrating innovative solutions for enhanced comfort and convenience, every detail was carefully considered.

One of our core principles as a design firm is emphasizing the importance of receiving comprehensive input from our clients to ensure that we develop designs perfectly meeting their needs. Once we have received the design brief, our team takes a deliberate and meticulous approach before proceeding with site execution. On the design front, we explore innovative ideas, materials, and technologies that can enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability of the project. Simultaneously, we conduct thorough budget research and analysis to ensure that the proposed design solutions are feasible and aligned with the client's financial parameters and expectations.
9. How do your Persian roots influence your design style and creative process?
Growing up in Iran has profoundly shaped my approach to design, imbuing my work with a deep appreciation for Persian patterns and textures that resonate deeply within me. These cultural influences have become an integral part of my creative identity, influencing my design philosophy and guiding my artistic vision.
In my design practice, I am driven by a desire to bring these Persian patterns to life in every corner of the spaces I create. Whether it's through the selection of materials, the arrangement of motifs, or the incorporation of traditional craftsmanship techniques, I strive to infuse each project with elements that evoke the timeless elegance and rich history of Persian artistry.
10. What are your plans for the future of Aria Interior Design? Are there any exciting projects or expansions on the horizon?
Recently, we proudly inaugurated our new studio in GK 2, New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This expansion signifies our commitment to growth and our eagerness to engage in more collaborations and ambitious projects. Over the past few years, we have had the privilege of collaborating with talented designers and architects across India, enriching our portfolio and broadening our creative horizons.
Building on this foundation, we are now embarking on a new chapter by venturing into the design of commercial and educational spaces.
