Whether it was her work in "Maharathi", "Tumi mur matho mur", "Priya o Priya", "Ramdhenu" or films like "Ahetuk", "Dooradarshan - eti Jantra" and "Ganga" - Porasor has followed her own path to display every character.
She uplifts the era of drama in Assam by single-handedly leading the Awahan Theatre. She is the lead actress and producer of this group, which is currently Assam's most popular drama group, founded by Krishno Roy. Along with her acting career, she is a mother, a daughter and a housewife who has been managing her family with utmost care and love for years. Porasor loves to spend time with her family.
