NTPC won first prize at the  prestigious SCOPE Business Quiz Bonanza (SBQB) held on 23rd April, 2024, at the SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi. As part of the Public Sector Day celebrations, around 120 teams from various Maharatna, Navaratna, and Miniratna PSUs across India participated in this competition.


Represented by Shri K M Prashanth, GM (CC), and Shri Anshuman Srivastava, DGM (CP), the NTPC team showcased exceptional knowledge and expertise throughout the event. Their dedication propelled them through the initial screening round, two semi-final rounds, and finally, to the grand finale, where they competed against three teams from SAIL.

The quiz covered an array  of topics including management concepts, current business events, brands, and the legacy of Public Sector Companies, tested the teams' breadth of knowledge and strategic thinking. After four intense rounds of quizzing, the NTPC team emerged victorious, demonstrating their commitment to excellence.

The prizes were distributed by Shri Amarendu Prakash, CMD (SAIL), Shri Atul Sobti, DG, SCOPE, Shri Uttam Lal, Director (HR), NHPC, and other esteemed dignitaries from SCOPE.

Shri D K Patel, Director (HR), NTPC,  also congratulated the team members for their excellent performance.
