Vaibhav A Gattani has a strong desire to tell a story in such a way that it makes strong connection with common people. Born in Sangli on 11th October 1994, Vaibhav is a 28year old filmmaker living in Mumbai who was always interested in filmmaking but was not confident enough about making it as a career. He is a BTech Civil engineer and right in his 1st year of engineering he realized that making films is the only thing that he wants to do for the rest of his life. That was the time when he listened to his heart and decided to make a career in films and started learning filmmaking simultaneously.
He is a Writer, Director, Producer, Actor, Cinematographer, Editor and also has a specialization in Vfx! Icescape Films is an independent film production company founded on May 5, 2018, by Vaibhav Gattani.
On being asked about the reason behind choosing the name Icescape Films, he says - Icescapes are Huge, Grand and Visually stunning and at the same time it has so many mysteries surrounding it!
Just like that, at Icescape Films, we specialize in making a film with Huge canvas, lots of Grandness and a little bit of mystery with dark emotions combined with technical perfection.
Vaibhav has made several short films under his banner Icescape Films which were received well by International Film Festivals. His strength lies in making a film with dark and unconventional theme. In fact, even before the movie begins, the introductory video says it all.
Elaborating on the same, he says, "The introductory video is very important for us as it conveys the type of cinema we make - Dark, Edgy and Mysterious! So as soon as the video plays before the movie, the audience knows what to expect!
He continues, "The video is made in collaboration with 3D Artist and Unreal Technical Director Karan Harimohan in Unreal Engine and the Music is given Akshay Vairagi."
In 2021, Vaibhav made his first Independent feature film 'Void' which will be releasing on 6th May, 2022 on Vimeo On Demand.
